Noise disturbances can be reported to PVD311 through various methods, ensuring that community disturbances are addressed promptly and efficiently. Our number one priority is ensuring the quality of life in every neighborhood.
Guidelines for reporting noise disturbances:
Real-Time Noise Disturbances (Urgent) - For noise disturbances that are happening in real-time noise and require immediate attention (e.g., loud parties, disruptive music, construction after hours), please contact the PVD non-emergency number at (401) 272-3121 as soon as possible.
Ongoing Noise Issues (Non-Urgent) - For noise problems that are repetitive or ongoing (e.g., constant barking dogs, regular loud machinery, or long-term construction noise), you contact PVD311 Constituent Services.
Be prepared to provide the following information:
- Exact location (address or nearby landmark).
- Describe the source of the noise (e.g., party, music, machinery).
- State the time it started and whether it's ongoing.
- Note any other relevant details (e.g., multiple complaints, possible violations of noise ordinances)
